Well after disabling that setting, now I’m testing further and I noticed that if I open PowerPoint and click add-ins, I’m still freely able to install anything. Unfortunately I don’t have an answer for this but I’m +1’ing it for needing a resolution. We’re on the Monthly build of Office 365 (click-to-run).
