Has anyone here kept up with regular gas safety check in their home or rental properties?
I was recently reading about how unnoticed gas issues can lead to serious risks like carbon monoxide leaks, fire hazards, or even explosions. It made me wonder how often people actually get their gas systems checked—especially in older homes where the infrastructure might be outdated.
From what I understand, a gas safety check typically includes inspecting appliances like heaters, stoves, hot water systems, and ensuring there are no leaks or blockages in the lines. For landlords, it seems to be a legal requirement in a lot of places. But even for homeowners, it’s just one of those things you don’t really think about until something goes wrong.
