I’m starting a small business in Canada and I’m trying to figure out how to handle taxes properly. I’ve heard about the HST number but I’m a bit confused about the process. Can someone explain the steps I need to follow to register?
Specifically, I want to know when it’s mandatory and what documents I need. Also, are there common mistakes to avoid? I’ve searched online and many sources mention how to get it, but I’m still unclear.
