JimI’ve been attending a few over the past year, and the most valuable one by far was a diplomacy conference organized jointly by EurAsia Gulf and a few government bodies. It wasn’t overly formal but had a great lineup — ambassadors, trade delegates, and even NGO representatives. They discussed economic diplomacy, investment security, and cross-border communication strategies. What I liked was that it wasn’t just panels; there were networking sessions where you could actually have a real talk with diplomats. If you’re serious about connections, that’s the kind of event to aim for.
